Reservations —

  • It is never too soon - the sooner the better!

We do our best to accept every order, but our calendar can get booked up.

As soon as you know the date of your event and begin booking other vendors, swing back here and reserve your spot.

Don’t see your date/time available? Reach out to us at VictoriaAnnHandmade@gmail.com

  • We require a main piece (Resin or Pressed) is purchased for all orders. All add-ons are optional for your order.

  • Once we receive your flowers, timelines vary depending on the product type and the season.

    • Resin pieces (trays, blocks, bookends, coasters, etc.) typically take 28–36 weeks (about 6–9 months) to complete.

    • Pressed frame pieces (wall art) generally take 12–20 weeks (about 3–5 months).

Turnaround times depend on factors like season (fall brides can expect longer timelines due to high wedding volume), the size of your order, and how quickly design proofs are approved by you. Because each piece goes through a detailed drying, design, and finishing process, and resin can be unpredictable, I don’t guarantee exact dates - I want to be sure every detail of your forever piece is perfect before it’s shipped. The slow process is intentional for the overall look and longevity of your pieces.

The preservation process can be lengthy, but the high-quality product that comes from it is worth the wait. Here at Victoria Ann Handmade, we strive for clarity, longevity, and minimal bubbles with all preservations.

  • Absolutely! I have preserved many previously dried flowers. Air-dried flowers can often be worked with, though they may look different than fresh flowers once preserved. As long as your flowers haven’t molded, we can turn them into a beautiful timeless piece of art. Simply select your air dried flower drop off date and purchase your products. NOTE: Air dried flowers can only fit in whole in resin blocks, not pressed. Add on resin items will include petals only from your air dried bouquet due to the thinness of the products.

If your bouquet is unusable (molded) or was accidentally tossed, we offer bouquet recreation services - Simply book your products and email us a photo of your bouquet for us to source your exact blooms with a local florist and then we will dry and preserve them for you.

  • Yes! It is time to dust off your flowers and create a special resin piece from it. Let us work our magic and turn your air-dried bouquet into a timeless and purposeful keepsake to display in your home and enjoy for years to come!

PLEASE NOTE: If there is mold or moisture on the flowers, we cannot accept them. We do offer bouquet recreation though so we can still preserve flowers for you!

Victoria Ann Handamde is NOT responsible for any mold, rot, dust, or hairs that are within the flowers that we cannot see.

  • If you would like to get the most out of your bouquet, we recommend ordering our large block options, as these pieces will be able to fit most-to-all of your bouquet. Our large blocks include our 10” square, 7” bookends, archs, hexagon, and 16” tray.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not send any flowers back to you that were not used in preservations due to them changing colors overtime and not being fragile if not preserved. For resin orders, if you request your flowers back within a week of your order completion, we will make an exception to give you the remainders back.

  • Our studio is based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, but we ship all over the US!

If you’re local, we have a local drop-off option to accept flowers directly to our in home studio. Please select the “flower drop-off” option when reserving your delivery date under our “Book Now” page. After booking, you will receive an automated email with flower care instructions that note the drop off address.

  • At this time, we do not ship internationally.

  • Yes. Artificial and wood florals can be incorporated into resin pieces.

    • Succulents don’t dry well in silica. If you’d like their look in resin, we can substitute realistic faux.

    • Spray-painted or heavily tinted blooms can’t be used in resin.

    • Certain tropical or very delicate varieties may brown or become fragile; I’ll curate the healthiest stems for your design.

  • Not at all. I preserve flowers from any occasion - memorials, anniversaries, proposals, showers, holidays, or just-because bouquets.

Preparation —

  • Yes! I work with both local and non-local clients.

Local clients: You’re welcome to drop off and pick up by appointment in Eden Prairie, MN (appointments are required).

Non-local clients: I ship nationwide! After booking, you’ll automatically receive detailed step-by-step simple instructions for 2-day or overnight shipping to ensure your flowers arrive safely.

To get the best results, I recommend booking your spot in advance so you’ll have access to my flower care guide (covering before, during, and after your event). For the most successful preservation, flowers should arrive within 3 days of your wedding or event.

We want to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible!

  • To get the best results, I recommend booking your spot in advance so you’ll have access to my flower care guide (covering before, during, and after your event). For the most successful preservation, flowers should arrive within 3 days of your event.

  • After your event: Keep your flowers hydrated by trimming the stems and placing them in fresh water. Refresh the water daily until drop-off or shipment. If you’ll be shipping, please also follow the detailed shipping instructions you’ll receive after booking to ensure your flowers arrive in the best condition possible.

On your event day: It’s normal for bouquets to be moved around and enjoyed - but a little extra care helps! Try to avoid touching the petals directly, and if you’re planning a bouquet toss, consider using a smaller bouquet or an artificial one instead.

Some light bruising on petals (similar to a banana bruise) is completely natural and often adds character. To minimize this, handle your bouquet gently and avoid excess squeezing. Bruises usually aren’t visible until flowers are layered in resin.

For full details and step-by-step guidance, you’ll receive my simple Flower Care Instructions after booking.

  • No, please don’t. I professionally dry your flowers in-house to preserve as much color, shape, and detail as possible before designing your piece.

If you can’t get flowers to me within 24–72 hours of your event or you’d like to avoid 2-day/overnight shipping pricing ($60+), you may air-dry them yourself and send them later. Air dried shipping instructions will be sent to you upon booking your “Air-Dried Shipping” appointment.

    Heads up on DIY air-drying:

    • Results can look different than fresh-dried blooms (colors may mute; whites can warm, reds can deepen; petals can become more fragile). They also loose their dimensional look and shrivel up when air dried.

    • Some flowers air-dry better than others (e.g., roses, spray roses, baby’s breath, eucalyptus often do well; very dense or moisture-heavy blooms may not).

    • Air dried blooms cannot be pressed in wall art - any resin block will fit air dried flowers in whole form. Any add on pieces will fit petals only from air dried flowers.

    • I’ll always select the healthiest blooms you provide and design for the best outcome.

Best practice: If at all possible, book ahead and get your fresh flowers to me within 3 days. That window gives the most consistent results.

  • It is very important to NOT place your bouquet in the freezer or fridge.

A residential-grade fridge is not good for your flowers and a freezer is simply too cold. After removing your flowers from a freezer, the flowers will droop, rot, and mold very quickly. We do not accept bouquets that have been placed in the freezer.

However, no need to fear if you have done this already - Simply call your florist and ask them to make a mini version of your wedding bouquet, and we can preserve that new bouquet.

  • For the best results, I recommend sending at least 1.5–2 full bouquets (or equivalent). This gives me enough blooms to design your piece beautifully.

If you have a larger order consisting of 2+ main pieces, dropping off 3-4 bouquets is recommended.

Upon arrival, we will assess every one of your flowers carefully and will pick the most beautiful and healthy blooms/greenery to include in your preservation order.

If you are wanting to get the most out of your flowers, we suggest upgrading the size of the resin block.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship extra flowers back.

  • Once you have booked your flower arrival appointment under “Flower Preservation” > “Book Now”, you will receive simple shipping instructions via your email confirmation.

  • You’ll receive my full, step-by-step shipping guide (with address) after you book. Here are the highlights:

    Timing

    • Fresh flowers: Ship overnight (or 2-day at most) so they arrive within 24–72 hours of your event.

    • Already air-dried: Ground shipping is fine.

Hydrate & wrap stems (fresh only)

    • Trim stems and wrap the cut ends with a damp (not dripping) paper towel.

    • Seal the damp towel with plastic wrap and a rubber band to prevent leaks.

    Pack snugly

    • Use a sturdy box just big enough for the bouquet (avoid oversized boxes to keep costs down).

    • Cushion around the bloom heads with tissue paper so the bouquet can’t shift. Don’t use any plastic on the flowers as this will make them wilt and mold.

    • Keep the bouquet upright if possible (mark the box “This Side Up”).

    Ship smart

    • Ship Mon–Wed to avoid weekend delays.

    • Drop off before the carrier’s last pickup and save your tracking number - email us your tracking number.

    • Label the box “Perishable - Flowers.”

    Dried blooms

    • Dried flowers are more fragile - pad generously and prevent any movement.

    Please avoid

    • Loose water vials or dripping stems (carriers may reject leaking boxes).

    • Ice/gel packs (condensation can damage petals).

    • Sealing the entire bouquet in plastic (traps moisture).

We’re based in Eden Prairie, MN and ship nationwide. After you book, you’ll get my detailed guide so the process is simple and stress-free. 🌸

  • I do my best with what I receive, but results are always best when instructions are followed closely.

If flowers arrive wilted, damaged, or moldy, I’ll use the healthiest blooms available, but please understand this may affect the outcome of your preservation.

We are not responsible for the condition in which your flowers arrive in. It is up to you to keep your flowers in the best shape possible for the best preservation outcome possible.

Orders —

  • The preservation process is a combination of unique design and special science. Your bouquet will go through a beautiful transformation process that will remind you of your beautiful love story and the amazing memories from your special day. We take a look at your bouquet to inspire us in the design process.

Short answer: I’ll preserve the look, palette, and feeling of your bouquet as closely as possible, but because flowers are living materials, an exact duplicate isn’t possible.

What to expect (normal + natural):

    • Color shifts: Whites can warm to cream; reds may deepen; some hues soften slightly.

    • Shape/size: Blooms can refine and shrink a bit as they dry.

    • Texture: Petals may become more matte or slightly translucent.

    Resin vs. pressed results:

    • Resin pieces keep the most dimension and overall color depth, though whites/reds can appear a touch softer once cured.

    • Pressed frames have a fine-art, botanical print look. I can do more selective color-correcting here and choose the best petals for a timeless layout.

My process to ensure a beautiful result:

    • I hand-select the healthiest blooms, do minor petal repairs, and (for pressed work) carefully color-correct.

    • I design to honor your bouquet’s balance and vibe; not every single bloom will be used, but I aim for a cohesive, heirloom finish.

Care matters: Display out of direct sun and high humidity. I use quality, UV-resistant materials, but all botanicals and resin naturally age over time.

  • Once your flowers are completely dry after roughly 8 weeks, we will send you your flower layout design(s) for each piece main piece that you ordered. 1 design per main piece is complimentary, and any minor flower swaps are complimentary. A full redesign may be purchased for $30/design.

Once you approve your design(s), we will continue the preservation process and begin pouring resin over your flowers to completely freeze them in time for you to enjoy for many years to come.

  • Your bouquet will naturally transform during drying and preservation. I’ll match the look, palette, and feel of your bouquet as closely as possible, but exact replicas aren’t possible with real botanicals.

    What’s normal for all pieces

    • Color shifts: Whites can warm to cream; reds may deepen; some hues soften.

    • Size/shape: Blooms can refine/shrink slightly as moisture leaves the petals.

    • Aging: All botanicals and resin evolve over time; display out of direct sun and high humidity for best longevity.

    Specific to resin pieces

    • Color & dimension: Resin keeps the most dimension and overall color depth, though whites/reds can appear a touch softer once cured.

    • “Love spots” (petal translucency): Minor bruising or translucent areas can appear - handle bouquets gently (avoid touching petals) and avoid tossing your bouquet to reduce this. (Pro tip: use a toss bouquet!)

    • Movement during pours: Flowers may shift a little as resin layers cure; I secure and adjust between layers to keep the composition balanced.

    • Tropicals/succulents/very delicate blooms: Some may brown or not preserve reliably; I’ll substitute with the healthiest stems from your bouquet where needed.

    Specific to pressed frames

    • Fine-art look: Petals dry flatter and more matte - think botanical artwork.

    • Selective use of blooms: Some flowers press as individual petals rather than full heads; I design for a cohesive layout rather than a stem-for-stem replica.

    • Color refinement: I carefully color-correct pressed pieces and choose the best petals for a timeless result.

For full details (including less common edge cases), please see our Terms & Conditions.

  • If you would like to add on more item(s) such as another main piece or add on(s), please place another order before the drying process begins (1-3 days after your event).

We will be able to see all of the orders you place and will make sure to include the added products.

Sometimes, you can purchase additional products after your flowers are dry, if there are leftovers during the design process I will email you to let you know and give you the option to add on more product(s) if you wish to.

If you are interested in upgrading or have a special request you forgot to include, please contact us at VictoriaAnnHandmade@gmail.com.

  • Your booking deposit and flower drying fee are non-refundable as it reserves your space on my calendar and covers prep costs.

Your product order is due a minimum of 1 week prior to your flower delivery appointment you booked, and after this is booked, sales are final and no refunds will be given. even if flowers are not received due to preparing for your order after booking your products.

We strive to create a special experience for each client and our goal is to exceed expectations.

However, under the circumstance of a customer requesting a refund, you may find our refund and return policy: Terms and Conditions

  • Every piece is handcrafted. Tiny bubbles, a speck of dust, glue on pressed frame or faint side pour lines can occur and are considered normal in studio-made resin and pressed work.

I devote meticulous care to each piece, but if something falls outside my quality standards, I’ll make it right.

  • Yes, as long as we haven’t glued your flowers into the pressed frame yet and/or ordered your frame for you yet, you may switch your frame color.

At the time of design layout approval - emailed to you roughly 2 months after your flower delivery date, you will have the option to change frame colors and/or upgrade sizes if you wish to.

After Care —

  • Each piece is made with high-quality resin that is very durable, but it still needs to be handled with care.

To maintain the longevity of your product, please keep your piece out of direct sunlight and away from humidity for optimal protection. You may also wipe down your piece occasionally by using a lint-less cloth and soap/water. Do not use house cleaning products on your resin pieces.

  • Resin pieces
I use premium, UV-resistant casting resin to showcase your flowers with beautiful depth and clarity. All resins naturally develop a soft amber tint as they age - think of it as a gentle, vintage glow that appears gradually over the years. UV inhibitors help slow this process, but cannot stop it entirely. ALL resins will amber overtime.

Care tips: Display out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources, and in normal home humidity to keep your piece looking its best and prolong the aging process. Natural aging of resin is expected and not considered a defect.

    Pressed frames
Pressed botanicals can soften or fade over time - this is normal for real flowers. Color corrected blooms will hold their coloring longer. We color correct most pressed flowers, included in your pressed frame product purchase.

Care tips: Hang away from direct sun and high humidity (avoid bathrooms/kitchens) to prolong the botanical fading process. Dust with microfiber cloth/duster and clean outside glass with glass cleaner.

  • Resin blocks are self-standing, and we recommend displaying them in a location where they will be seen and enjoyed the most, but left out of direct sunlight and humidity to maintain the longevity of your piece.
